Labor Law and Litigation

Meitar’s Labor Department has a broad range of expertise in all matters related to labor laws and human resource policies and procedures. Our labor law clients include some of Israel’s largest employers, as well as multinational companies operating in Israel. In addition to representing clients before Israel’s Labor Court and in various arbitration forums, we also work with clients on preventive counseling and strategies to avoid litigation as well as compliance with newly adopted regulations.

Our labor practice also includes advising clients in matters arising out of breach of employee non-disclosure agreements and non-competition or non-solicitation agreements.

Our Labor Department plays a significant role in advising clients in M&A transactions on matters related to human resources and in implementing change of control arrangements. The Labor Department also provides advice in structuring executive compensation arrangements and in negotiating schemes for participation of management in corporate ownership, such as MBO transactions.
