Giora Ungar is of counsel to the firm. Giora has 29 years of extensive experience in civil law. During these years Giora has been engaged in numerous complex cases and has represented varied clients in a multitude of courts, legal tribunals, forums and arbitration panels. Giora also serves as an arbitrator in a broad variety of commercial matters. In the course of his years of practice, Giora has obtained a vast knowledge in a wide spectrum of civil and administrative legal matters, and possesses strong expertise in tenders, contracts and administrative law. Representative experience:
- Representing clients in defense-related tenders of the Ministry of Defense.
- Representing bidders in an international tender of the Ministry of Finance relating to the "Wisconsin Program" to encourage welfare recipients to re-enter the workforce.
- Representing a public company in a municipal tender to acquire a lot for new headquarters and production facility.
- Representing a bidder in a tender for the distribution of natural gas in a successful challenge to the tender procedures before the Supreme Court of Israel.
- Representing Superbus in a successful challenge to results of a tender to provide transportation services.
- Representing the Elco Electra Group as part of a consortium in a tender to select a natural gas distributor for Israel’s southern region.
- Advising in an NIS 20 million agreement in which a publicly traded company acquired a private company that deals with computer solutions.
- Representing Shikun Ovdim and Azorim in an NIS 80 million claim against the Israel Land Administration.
- Representation of Israel’s Association of Engineers in an arbitration regarding a $6 million evacuation lawsuit and a monetary claim of NIS 15 million.
