Or Baron Gil

Or Baron Gil is a partner in the firm's Litigation Group. His practice focuses on resolution of disputes with an international aspect - advising Israeli clients in connection with proceedings before courts and arbitration panels abroad, and representing foreign clients in various Israeli proceedings. Or has experience representing clients before all civil courts in Israel (including bankruptcy), before both State and Federal courts in the United States, and in ICC and LCIA international arbitrations. Prior to joining Meitar, Or practiced law for 6 years at the litigation department of Debevoise 8 Plimpton LLP in New York, where he specialized in defending directors and officers of public and private companies in civil actions filed against them; and in representing companies and senior executives in enforcement proceedings of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Or was also a visiting professor of Law and Economics in the University of Basel, Switzerland and a Court Attorney in the District Court of Jerusalem.
