Maya Liquornik is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Group and the Technology Group.  She represents corporations in a broad range of international and domestic corporate and commercial transactions, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity financings, venture capital, information and communications technology transactions, outsourcing and advisory work. Maya has substantial experience in structuring and negotiating complex cross border technology and outsourcing transactions. Maya’s practice focuses on representing large publicly traded corporations, technology companies in various stages of development, venture capital and private equity funds and other corporate and investment banking clients. Prior to joining Meitar, Maya was an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York.

Representative experience:
  • Representation of ExLibris in its sale to Francisco Partners for $60 million and subsequently to Leeds for $150 million.
  • Representation of Amdocs in the acquisition of Longshine in China.
  • Representation of Amdocs in the acquisition of Qpass for approximately $275 million.
  • Representation of Appilog in its $60 million sale to Mercury.
  • Representation of Amdocs in a $700 million outsourcing transaction with SBC.
  • Representation of investors in a $25 million financing round in Transtech, and then in an additional $12 million round.
  • Representation of Gazit Globe in a $100 million investment in a real-estate fund in India.
  • Representation of Harel Insurance in an arbitration against Ness, resulting in a multi-million dollar award to Harel.
  • Representation of Notal Vision in international arbitration against Zeiss, resulting in multi-million dollar award to Notal.
