Shaul Grossman is a partner in the firm's Taxation Group and focuses his practice on international taxation. Shaul has extensive experience in all areas of international taxation, with a particular emphasis on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, global real estate, public offerings, restructuring, and cross-border transactions. He advises Israeli, US and European-based clients on all tax aspects of structuring their investments and operations, with the objective of obtaining the most tax-efficient solution that is easy to understand and implement and that is aligned with the client's business objectives. In addition to Israeli taxation, Shaul devotes a significant amount of his practice to US and international tax issues. Shaul is a US tax lawyer and has practiced US tax law both as an attorney in New York at Dechert LLP, and as a member of Ernst & Young's US Tax Desk in Israel. Shaul has extensive experience with the tax systems in Western Europe and North America as well as in emerging markets such as China, India, Russia, Eastern Europe and others. He has structured numerous investments in these countries (with a particular focus on the needs of US and Israeli based clients) and has a wide network of global tax practitioners from leading law and accounting firms, with which he plans and implements projects. Shaul is a Member of the ABA and NYSBA Tax Section committees, as well as a member in the International Fiscal Association. He regularly lectures on areas pertaining to international taxation and structuring of global investments.
